The next meeting of the SLAV Council will be on Saturday 3rd August at 10.30am at The Dream Factory. Following Council business, there will be a light lunch (12.00 - 12.30pm) and then our Think Tank meeting will convene so that we can plan our programs for 2020 (12.30pm - 2.30pm).

The Term One meeting was held at Mazenod College Library last Thursday 28th February with attendees represented from Government and Catholic Schools. Our guest speaker was Kerry Thomas from Clickview and she was able to share with us upcoming new features and answer any of our questions. Clickview is now being used by 84% of all P-12 schools in Victoria and everything will soon be moving to a browser mode. Thanks to members who attended the end of year branch dinner at Bucatini's Wine Bar last week. As always, it was a great exchange of practical ideas.
We learn so much from each other and literature events, author visits and celebrating literacy success are such an effective way to promote the role of the Library that's both visible and enjoyable.
